In the second quarter of 2025, the top cryptocurrency apps on the iOS platform in Australia showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

CoinSpot - Buy & Sell Bitcoin saw a peak in weekly downloads at 4.6K in early May, with a general fluctuation between 2.2K and 3.2K throughout the quarter. Active users experienced a decline from approximately 189K at the start of April to around 149K by the end of June.

Crypto.com: Buy BTC, ETH & CRO downloads showed a steady increase, peaking at 2.5K in the week of May 19. Meanwhile, active users decreased from 53K to about 35K over the quarter.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto maintained a consistent download rate, hitting a high of 2.5K in mid-May. The app's active users initially decreased but rebounded to over 110K in late May, before declining again to 81K by the end of June.

Coinbase: Buy BTC, ETH, SOL had a modest increase in downloads, peaking at 1.8K in mid-May. Active users grew steadily, starting at 27K and reaching nearly 37K by the end of the quarter.

Swyftx: Buy Bitcoin, ETH & SOL downloads peaked at 1.8K in late May. Active users increased from 35K to over 44K mid-quarter before settling around 36K by the end of June.
